My Friends Planned My 50th — Now I’m Giving That Gift Back

When I turned 50, something unexpected happened.

I didn’t plan where.

I didn’t manage logistics, schedules, or preferences.

I didn’t stress about dietary restrictions, order the cake, put up the decorations, or worry about the clean-up.

My friends did.

And what that allowed me to do—to simply show up, be present, and receive—was one of the greatest gifts of the entire experience.

As women, we’re often the planners. The organizers. The ones making sure everything runs smoothly for everyone else. Even when it’s our birthday, we’re usually still coordinating details behind the scenes. Turning 50 made me pause and realize how powerful it is to be cared for—to be celebrated without turning the moment into another project.

That experience stayed with me long after the celebration.

It made me reflect on what milestone birthdays really represent. Turning 50 isn’t about slowing down or “aging out” of adventure. For many of us, it’s the opposite. It’s a moment of clarity. Strength. Confidence. A desire to keep moving, exploring, and living fully—while also honoring our bodies and well-being.

That’s what inspired Milestone in Motion.

Milestone in Motion is about celebrating life’s big moments through movement, wellness, and meaningful connection. It’s for women who want to mark a milestone—especially turning 50—by staying active, feeling vibrant, and sharing an unforgettable experience with the people they love.

These trips blend adventure with restoration: days that get you moving, paired with moments to recover, connect, and celebrate. And most importantly, they remove the stress of planning from the person being celebrated. Whether you know exactly where you want to go or need help shaping the vision, I take care of the logistics so you can focus on enjoying the experience itself.

Because your milestone deserves more than a dinner reservation.

 It deserves intention.

 It deserves joy.

It deserves to feel like you.

If you or a friend is approaching a milestone and you want to celebrate it in a way that feels active, nourishing, and deeply meaningful, I’d love to help you design that journey.
